Dr.
Lawrence Fallat has served his patients and community for over 25
years. He is respected locally and globally for his humanitarian
efforts and his research to improve the quality of foot and ankle
care. Dr. Fallat has published approximately 30 scientific and research
papers. He also lectures both locally and nationally.
Serving as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine since 1977 Dr. Fallat
has been am member of many national organizations including the:
American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric
Medical Association, and Michigan Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Fallat is currently the Director of the Podiatric Surgical Residency
of the Oakwood Healthcare System and Section Leader of the Podiatry
Department of Surgery at Oakwood Hospital.
Dr.
Fallat is a graduate of Oakland community College, Eastern Michigan
University and The Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. His surgical
residency was competed at Highlands Center Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
In 1989 he served a fellowship in foot and ankle trauma in Ravensberg
Germany at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
Outside of his practice Dr. Fallat provides humanitarian services
to organizations such as S.M.A.R.T., Healing the Children and Project
Health Help. His travels have taken him to Honduras and the Dominican
Republic to evaluate crippled children suffering from severs congenital
foot deformities. He is also involved in his community, helping
raise funds to support charitable endeavors.
